Winter Greens

The blistering cold of winter has finally hit, and it's time to break out the large scarves that you can bury your face into.

At first glance, it may seem like the scarf is a part of the sweater, like a cowl-neck sweater, but the scarf is in fact a piece on its own. The benefit of that is I can bundle the scarf around my neck as many times as possible for maximum warmth ;) If you're not familiar with Sheinside (disclaimer: this is not sponsored!), it's one of those "Forever 21" type online stores based in Asia, that sells modern trends for cheap. Keep in mind that you do get what you pay for, but this is a feasible way to test out a new fashion trend without investing in it. Another point to consider is that shipping will take a very long time - over a month, maybe a month and a half. Lastly, since this is a company based in Asia, the sizes are more or less catered to Asian women, many of whom are petite. If you look closely, I rolled up the sleeves on the sweater because the sleeves actually stop awkwardly (above 1-2" above my wrist), and rolling the sleeves up help to cinch the sleeves.
