Homemade Guacamole

Avocados are true staples in my daily meals, and guacamole is something I make pretty often. There are so many different ways to make guacamole, and here's my simple method:

prevent your guacamole from browning by: adding an acid (lemon or lime juice) and placing the stone/pit inside the guacamole mixture!

1 ripe avocado
juice of 1/2 a lime
3 tablespoons of chopped green onion/scallion
1 tsp of smoked paprika
salt & pepper, to taste
(opt) 1/4 of a red onion, minced

1. Cut the avocado lengthwise, and twist to open.
2. Cut into quarters, peel off the skin, and remove the pit/stone. (Set the pit/stone aside)
3. Mash the avocado with a fork until you achieve your desired consistency.
4. Mix in the other ingredients.
5. Add the guacamole to a dish and place the pit/stone in side the guacamole mixture to prevent it from browning.

xoxo, han
