DIY Marbled Ring Dish

\

This is an incredibly easy DIY that'll serve as a great gift and functional decor piece ;)

DIY Marbled Ring Dish
________________________________________

1 piece of white polymer clay
smaller piece of colored polymer clay

thin brush
gold acrylic paint

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

1. Knead the pieces of polymer clay until softened.
2. Knead the two pieces of clay together into a ball.
3. Flattened out dish (photographed): flatten the ball of clay. Pinch the edges and curve them
up to form the edges of the dish. If needed, rip parts of the edges (towards the center) and overlap
them to form a taller, rimmed edge.

Curved dish/bowl: Take the circular ball of clay and press your thumb into the middle. Rotate the ball
and as you rotate it, press your thumb into the middle several times. This will create a traditional "bowl" look.
Continue pressing your thumb into the clay/evening out the edges until you achieve your desired thickness.

4. Bake the clay according to the manufacturer's instructions. (for me, it was 270*F for about 35-40 minutes)
5. Let it cool completely.
6. Paint the edges gold and let it air dry.

(DIY for this Monogrammed Wedding Ring Dish to come!)

xoxo, han
