Rainforest Cafe (Disney World's Animal Kingdom in Orlando, FL)

okay, hands down, one of the best meals I had at Disney.

Prices: $$
Location: By the entrance at Animal Kingdom
Portions: Medium
Ambiance: It's what you'd expect from any Rainforest Cafe; a starry sky, dimly-lit room full of jungle "foliage", and lots of animatronic animals...and also lots of noise. This is a fun experience, but, speaking from personal experience, it's not the best place for super young kids or people who prefer an elegant, low-key dinner. The gift shop is right outside, so you have something to do while waiting for your food. They have this new dessert that looks like a volcano, so every few minutes, we'd hear "VOLCAAAAANOOOOOO" and see a line of servers walking out with the dessert.
Service: Our server was incredibly sweet and friendly, but our service was very slow. At the same time, it's understandable that a large restaurant (this is the largest Rainforest Cafe in the entire world!) is busy. Like the other Disney restaurants we went to, we were able to all get separate checks, even with our party of 10.
Verdict: I ordered the "Natural Burger" (a veggie burger, no bun, but with extra lettuce and a side of Caribbean Rice & beans) and ohhhhhh my lanta it was soooo good. According to the menu, the burger is "a blend of mushrooms, water chestnuts, onion, carrots, brown rice, whole grain oats, red peppers, black olives and spices", and I saved part of the leftovers for my brother, a carnivore, and even he liked it! This comes with a side of guac, which basically perfects the burger, and the Caribbean rice was tender and not spicy at all (just fragrant from spices). I would definitely come back for the burger, but since rainforest cafes are universal, I'd rather go to a local one and spend a meal at a different place next time I'm in Orlando.

xoxo, han
