Korean BBQ Tempeh

it feels so good to not be in school.
okay, let's start over.
it feels so good to be able to leave school early because of two study halls.
consequently, it feels so good to be able to feel all grown-up and make a Target/Ulta run at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday.
it feels even better to eat tempeh because it really keeps you sustained and full for a while ;)

Recipe: Korean BBQ Tempeh
By: Hannah Claudia

1 package of tempeh, cut into approx. 1" strips
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2-3 tablespoons Korean BBQ Sauce
sesame seeds, to garnish

1. Prepare a steamer; steam the tempeh for about 10 minutes.
2. Mix the rice vinegar and korean bbq sauce in a shallow dish.
3. Marinate the tempeh for about 30 minutes.
4. Bake the tempeh for about 10 minutes at 375*F. (I place the tempeh on top of a cooling rack that's on top of a baking sheet; this way any fall out will be caught on the baking sheet and the tempeh can get nice and golden brown on all sides without flipping!)
5. Garnish with sesame seeds.

xoxo, han
