Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies


my brother loved the red velvet cheesecake i bought him when we were in new york back in October, 
so i decided to give Sunny Anderson's recipe for red velvet swirl brownies 
a go, and I think it turned out pretty good!
(it smelled good to me ;] )

the only thing that I changed was the coloring: instead of using food coloring, i just blended 1/2 a large beet root in the blender
and added it to the brownie mixture. nobody noticed the flavor of the beets, so i consider that a success and a great way to hide vegetables
into desserts.
