nope! we're actually going to be making clay. clay
it's a super easy process and it's great for kids too ;)

Materials for clay:
1 cup of baking soda
1/2 cup of cornstarch
3/4 cup of water
pot & wooden spoon

Materials for design:
knife
rolling pin
cookie cutters
extra cornstarch for dusting the surface

Materials for hanging:
thread
scissor

Process:
1. Place the pot on medium heat and add all of the clay ingredients.
2. Mix with the wooden spoon until everything comes together into a ball.
3. Let the mixture cool (takes about 2-3 minutes)
4. Dust the surface with cornstarch and roll the clay out into a 1/4 inch thick sheet.
5. Design away ;) I scored my dough to add extra texture. Don't forget to cut holes to string the ornaments!

6. Bake at 175*F for 60 minutes (or until the ornaments have hardened)
7. Cut thread and tie it to the ornaments.
