CrockPot Pumpkin Butter

ahhhh so good.
just to let you know, when i made this pumpkin butter recipe though, i added half the amount of sugar that the recipe called for, but it was still wayyy too sugary, so i'm cutting the amount i added by another half.

pumpkin butter tastes so good with peanut butter, by the way ;)

Recipe: CrockPot Pumpkin Butter
By: Hannah Claudia

29-oz of pumpkin puree
3/4 cup of apple cider or apple juice
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or combination of cloves, nutmeg, ginger)

1. Mix all of the ingredients in the crock pot.
2. Turn it on high for 3-4 hours until thickened or on low for 6-8 hours. (If you don't have a crockpot, bring to a boil and simmer on the stove for 30-45 minutes until thickened)
3. Cool and transfer to mason jars :)

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Butter Pretzels: incredibly simple, but the sweet, savory, crunchy flavors/textures work sooo beautifully

Coconut Pumpkin Butter Power Bites: a great pick me up that's raw, vegan, gluten free and super addicting. trust me. i ate the whole batch in two days because it was sooo good. this recipe is versatile too, so you can switch ingredients easily.

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Butter Thumbprint Cookies: Some I made with just peanut butter, some I made with just pumpkin butter. The best cookies were the ones with BOTH. This is also a gluten free and vegan recipe :)

xoxo, hannah
