Rooibos Almond Milk Latte

here's a quick latte recipe that can be easily made at home with a few simple ingredients:

Recipe: Rooibos Almond Milk Latte
By: Hannah Claudia

Rooibos tea ( i just used 1 tea bag from Trader Joe's and steeped it in 1 cup of hot water)
a splash of almond milk
1 teaspoon of honey (if desired)

1. Make the milk frothy by blending it in a blender for 10 seconds (max)
2. Mix in the honey into the tea
3. Add the milk to the tea and top with cinnamon

just trying to be artsy....lol not ;)
but this quote is so true, isn't it? except replace coffee with this latte (or hot chocolate heh) and the ghirardelli chocolate with...
apple slices?
any of the above will work just fine for me .

rooibos almond milk latte, scallion/parsley omelette (1 egg & 1 egg white), and a banana for breakfast

i'm oh-so-close to finishing pretty much all of my school summer hw that i can do before august, and i have been really getting back into discovering new music and reading. the other day when i was lifeguarding, i was reading my summer reading book (Art of the Personal Essay) and time just totally slipped by, it was amazing. i've had a very long list of books to read on my iPod for ages now, and i really want to start crossing some books off ;)
as for music, the other day, i spent probably 4 hours typing up biology notes and just listened to a spotify playlist the entire time. a lot of the songs weren't exactly songs that i would put on my iPod, but they just fit the mood because i was tapping away on the keyboard and it was nice & quiet in my room and the songs were just perfect background music to listen to ;)

if you have any music/book recommendations, feel free to comment below and let me know! (have i suddenly become a poet after reading so much?! jkjk)

xoxo, Hannah
