Vegan, Gluten-Free::Sweet Potato Chips

Last week, I was flooded with end of the semester tests,
one after another. After taking 4 tests all in the same day last Friday,
I decided to have a movie night with my family that Saturday.
I'm always looking for healthier alternatives to junk foods that my brother loves,
and this sweet potato chip recipe was a success ;)

BTW, this is the last post in my sweet potato trio posts so let me know which
recipe was your favorite!!

Recipe: Sweet Potato Chips
                                                                     By: Hannah Claudia

3 sweet potatoes, sliced thinly
2 tablespoons of coconut oil, melted
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of maple syrup

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

1. Coat the sweet potatoes in the coconut oil.
2. Toss the sweet potatoes in the cinnamon and maple syrup.
3. Bake at 375*F for 15-20 minutes.

TIPS:

-KEEP AN EYE on the sweet potatoes when they're baking!!
They have a lot of natural sugar and they're super thin so they can burn easily.
-Try to slice the sweet potatoes with the same thickness so they cook at the same time

What are your favorite movie snacks?

xoxo, Hannah
