Homemade Wontons

Homemade wontons anyone? Again, I'm posting a family
recipe that's not vegetarian/pescatarian friendly (unless you use fish
paste or shrimp for pescatarians out there) nor is it gluten-free.
So sad. But hey, I figured that somebody out there might be interested
in making homemade wontons, so here's the recipe:

Recipe: Homemade Wontons

Grandpa's Meatball Mixture (see my previous post for the recipe)
1/2 cup of frozen corn and peas (defrosted)
1 egg, whisked
1 package of wonton/potsticker wrappers (found at Asian stores)


1. Mix the defrosted peas/corn with the meatball mixture
2. Place a small spoonful of the meatball mixture in the middle of 
a wonton wrapper. 
3. Dab a little bit of the whisked egg on one corner of the wrapper
and connect the opposite corner to the egg corner.
4. Dab some egg onto the middle of the wonton where the meat 
is wrapped and connect one corner to the middle. 
5. Repeat and connect the other corner to the middle.
6. Boil some water, and cook 6 wontons at a time.
7. They're done when they float ;)

*Tip: when you dab the egg onto the wontons, 
use a knife to minimize the eggy mess!!
