DIY Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats ♥

These flats are adorable ♥. However, the price
for them isn't as pleasant. Here's a DIY for under
$15 to make these flats on your own!

You will need:

Pair of Black Flats
($10 from Walmart by Faded Glory---I cut the bows off)

Gold Paint
($1.50 from Walmart by Tulip)
*TIP: get paint that is in a squeeze bottle. I made the mistake
of buying it in the larger bottle, and it's much harder to trace with.

Black Felt
($0.33 from JoAnn's)

Additional Items: Toothpicks, newspaper, scissors, hot glue gun

I outlined the flats with a purple sharpie (actually shows up!) with the
cat design. Then dip a toothpick in the paint, and start tracing over the outline.
There's no real trick; if you mess up, then take a wet paper towel
and wipe the paint off :P. If you have the squeeze bottle paint (puffy paint),
then you most likely will not have this issue.

Cut out four kitty ears. I cut out a stencil that I drew on paper,
then folded the piece of felt four times, cut out cat ears using the stencil
as a guide, then voila!: you have four identical sized ears :)

Hot glue the ears on, then use a toothpick dipped in the paint (or puffy paint)
to draw little triangles on each ear.
